Easter Prayer

My precious Jesus died for me

On the cross at Calvary

You hung on that cross and suffered so

Your pain we will never know.

The greatest love in the world is free

My heart is open wide for thee

Please know that I love you all my heart

I know I did from the very start.

You died for me I'm so ashamed

That I never once praised your name

Yet the love was always a breath away

It was only hard for me to say.

When I see lightening in the sky

I know you'll be coming by and by

To receive us in your home above

And covet us with eternal love.

This Easter as I say my prayers

I know you hear me because of your cares

I give you my life, I hope you can see

How very precious you are to me.
