The morning sun, the songs of the birds

Awaken us into this world.

Each day as we begin anew

Our journey, may angels walk with you.

And as I travel life and land

I pray that angels, hold my hand.

As I face what the day brings

I pray to soar on angels' wings.

I hope to feel the air so sweet

I hope that angels guide my feet.

As I walk through this day, may I

Touch those who I meet along the way.

Life gives us chances for new beginnings

Each day as we find what it's bringing to us.

To live and also experience

To learn of love and life's essence.

So as we travel on life's road

I hope to lighten someone's load.

I hope that I may bring a smile

To those, with whom I talk a while.

And if by chance, I feel afraid

Or worry about the mess I've made.

I hope that angels walk with me

And set my heart and spirit free.

With angels walking by my side

To keep me safe and be my guide.

I just won't feel so alone

No matter where or with whom I roam.

Until I go to sleep tonight

I hope to feel the sun so bright.

I hope to learn and feel new things

I hope to soar on angels' wings!

Dear God please give me the courage

As I go along my way.

To help others find serenity, peace and love,

As I meet them on life's highway.

Help me Lord to be strong and true

As I go along Your way.

Help me Lord, not to hide

But try to be angel, at some ones side.
