To have someone so special
To tell your troubles to
Or happy thoughts that you may have
Good friends are there for you.

Sometimes we take for granted
Their love and beautiful heart
Yet somehow they are always there
They were there right from the start.

Let us all remember
The beauty friendships bring
That makes us happy everyday
And makes our lonely heart sing.

Friendships are a special gift
From our precious Lord above
He gave them to us selfishly
To cherish and to love.
