My
little angel came to visit me,
Her
eyes were always full of wonder and glee.
She
filled my heart with love and such joy,
And
made my world seem like a special toy.

Wherever
she went, her love always prevailed,
And
pain and anger, was always derailed.
I
loved her so, with all of my heart.
I
didn't know that she soon would depart.

I
thought she would be here all life long,
Oh,
how dear God I was so very wrong.
My
heart cries tears of fear and pain,
Oh,
please dear God, I want her back again.

Back
to heaven, she has flown,
With
the angel wings of gold, she has grown.
She
gave me love, joy and laughter,
Her
gifts of these are mine forever after.

My
little angel is gone from me,
I
pray for times that can not be.
I
long for that smile, that again I'll never see,
A
giggle, a touch, to ease the pain in me.

I
try not to think about tomorrow,
Because
it brings me such deep sorrow.
My
pain is real, my heart is sore,
When
I think of her smile, her eyes always wore.

And
yet, I know inside my heart,
It's
just for awhile that we must part.
She's
in heaven, watching over me,
Knowing
that some day, together, we will be.

When
the doors of heaven open up to me,
We
will be together, my little one, I will see.
But
until that day, I must remain,
On
this earth's hard and rocky plain.

To
toil and work, to make things right,
To
guide, to lead, to fight the fight.
To
help free the world of children's pain,
Knowing
that I will see my angel again.

My
little angel came to visit me,
And
I thank God for sharing her with me.
For
the times we had and the joy we shared,
For
all the special moments of love, un-spared.

My
little angel came to visit me,
And
left a promise that only I can see.
For
all the pain that her leaving meant,
I
wouldn't have missed one moment of it.

My
little precious angel, I long to see,
And
in God's timing, it will come to be.
Then
I will always have her within my touch,
Something,
that I long for so very much.

If
you have an angel, that you long to see,
An
angel that God gave wings, to make her free.
From
suffering and such terrible pain,
Remember
that your angel did not die in vain.

Your
precious little angel, is now in God's care,
With
golden wings and so much love to share.
Looking
down upon you with beautiful grace,
Longing
to see a smile upon your face.

Although
your little angel, is not within your site,
You
can see her in the starry sky at night.
She
will be looking down at you with love,
Wearing
a gown, that is white as a dove.

She
is so busy, working in God's heavenly home,
Known
to her as His Kingdoms Throne.
She
is the little angel, that God gave to you,
With
a heart full of love, that is love so true.
