To those who left me here,

Knowing someday you would see me there.

And to those of you whom I leave behind,

I know I will always be in your heart and mind.

Your heart will be broken and tears will be shed,

You know how much I love you,

So please, be happy instead.

I go before you to prepare a place,

So don't be in a hurry, slow be your pace.

I will always watch over you as I did here on earth,

Forever and ever, since I gave you birth.

You will always, always be in my heart,

As you have been, right from the start.

I have felt the great love that you have given to me,

The same kind of love that I bestowed on thee

I with you and you with me, in heaven it is called eternity.

Whether we're here or whether we're there,

You and I, we forever care.

And when it is your turn to leave someone behind,

You too will forever be in their mind.

In their hearts you will always stay,

Because of the love you shared each day.

I will be patiently waiting with arms wide open,

To assist you on your journey,

Your journey to heaven
